Entre tradition et modernité l’artiste Charles-Joseph de Ligne présente son exposition de photographies chromatiques
« Coeur de Miroir : jìng xīn » au Carrousel du Louvre
L’artiste visuel franco-belge Charles-Joseph de Ligne présente sa nouvelle exposition “Cœur de Miroir” au Carrousel du Louvre, une exploration captivante de la photographie contemporaine du 25 septembre au 28 octobre 2024. Cette exposition unique plongera les visiteurs dans un univers où les nuances de la lumière repoussent les limites chromatiques tout en explorant les structures fondamentales de la peinture classique.
Shanghai, l’origine de l’inspiration
En janvier 2013, Charles-Joseph de Ligne s’installe à Shanghai, captivé par l’énergie vibrante et les néons effrénés de cette métropole internationale, il commence à explorer les jeux de lumière et les couleurs urbaines à travers son objectif artistique. Son œuvre puise dans les symboles culturels de la Chine, également les fondamentaux des peintures occidentales, fusionnant tradition et modernité dans une série de photographies monumentales.
Le Carrousel du Louvre, comme écrin pour découvrir les cultures du monde
Dans la continuité de la vocation du plus grand musée du Monde, le Carrousel du Louvre propose tout au long de l’année des expositions d’art qui mettent en avant la création contemporaine et le savoir-faire de tous les continents.
L’œuvre de Charles-Joseph de Ligne s’inscrit dans cette démarche de programmation culturelle du Carrousel du Louvre, lieu emblématique du centre de Paris. 22 œuvres sous le thème de « Cœur de Mirroir » “镜心” (jìng xīn) seront exposées dans les allées et les places du centre du Carrousel du Louvre
“Coeur de Miroir un format imprégné de philosophie qui explore les symboles chinois :
Le concept du “Cœur de miroir” illustre la pureté de l’œuvre, sans artifice superflu qui incite à une profonde introspection. Chaque photographie devenant ainsi une fenêtre ouverte sur l’âme de l’artiste et du spectateur.
Les œuvres repoussent les limites chromatiques traditionnelles, explorant des symboles culturels tels que le rouleau vertical “立轴” (lì zhóu), le Yin et Yang “阴阳”, le cercle cosmique “太极” (tài jí) ainsi que les origines de la nature. Chacune de ses photographies en grand format capte la monumentalité des structures et des couleurs en états pures, tout en intégrant les émotions fortes pour créer un langage visuel unique et puissant.

“Indonesia at the Carousel du Louvre” exhibits twenty-two photographs captured by the famous Indonesian artist Edward Hutabarat.
